He was a son of the late Heyward Washington, Sr. and Lottie McKnight Washington.
Surviving: his wife, Jeraldine Jeter Washington of the home; two daughters, Victoria Anderson and Demetria McWhite; two sons, Tommy Washington, Jr. and Keith Washington; two step-daughters, Rebecca Whitherspoon and Valerie McDuffie; four step-sons, Timothy Whitherspoon, Travis Jeter, Derrick Jeter and Kendrick Lee; one sister, Gloria Washington; one brother, Heyward Washington, Jr.; a host of grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
