Vearee Taylor

Ms. Vearee Taylor, 76, transitioned from this side on November 29, 2015, at Greenville Health System. She was born on October 16, 1939 and was the daughter of the late Mr. Luther Taylor, Sr. and Mrs. Eller Nee Byrd Taylor.

She was a former employee of Greenville General Hospital in the Laundry Room. She joined the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church at an early age and later in life became affiliated with the Riverside Christian Outreach Church.

She was the devoted companion of the late Sammie Lee Williams. She also was preceded in death by her sons, David Lee Taylor; sisters, Areatha T. Mangrum and Bertha Lee Strickland and brothers, Luther Taylor, Jr., George Edward Taylor, Lewis Taylor and Johnny Taylor.

She is survived by her children; Beverly (Billy) Irby, Sandra (Frederick Ashley) Taylor, Rev. Curtis (Francina) Taylor, William (Simiko) Taylor, all of Greenville, SC and Charlie (Diane) Taylor of Easley, SC; sister, Elaine Taylor of Greenville, SC, brothers, Alonzo Taylor and Joe Nathan (Dot) Taylor, both of Greenville, SC; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
