Vera Chappell

Mrs. Vera Chappell, 64, departed this life on Friday, June 16, 2017, at Greenville Health System. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Izola Donaldson Chappell.

She was a 1969 graduate of Greenville High School. She was employed as a caregiver and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where she served in the Senior Choir, Senior and Prison Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Gail Turner, Leola Chappell and Lucinda Chappell and brothers, Leroy Chappell, Jr. and Eulese Chappell.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her son, Noah Chappell of Greenville; sisters, Alma Young of Simpsonville, Barbara (David) Cleveland and Carolyn (Rhudolph) Norris, both of Greenville and Josie Butler of Atlanta, GA; brother, Bobby (Jacqueline) Chappell of Greenville, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
