Vermel Elmore

Mr. Vermel Elmore, 74, of 209 Benjamin Perry Court, Simpsonville, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at St. Francis Downtown. Born in Laurens County, he was the son of the late William Young, Sr. and Naomi Elmore Young. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathie Mae Young and brother, Hugh Lee Elmore, Sr.

Left to cherish his memories: a loving wife; Christine Elmore of the home: daughter; Betty Franklin: son; Vermel Hunter, II: brothers; William (Roberta) Young, Jr. and Ervin E. (Lillie) Young, sister-in-law; Mary Elmore, all of Laurens: and Johnnie D. Young of Frankfort, Germany: two grandchildren: two great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Monday, October 20, 2014, 11:00 AM - 12:00 Noon.

Funeral Service: Monday, October 20, 2014, 12:00 Noon at Reedy Fork Baptist Church, Simpsonville, with burial in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
