Mrs. Verna Simmons Chancellor, 82, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at her home. She was a daughter of the late David Slyvester Simmons and Rosa Lee Smith Simmons Reed.
Surviving: two daughters, Barbara Chancellor Gilliard of Greenville and Sharon L. Chancellor of Wellford; two sons, David S. (Vicki) Chancellor of Hampton, GA, and Willie W. Chancellor of Greenville; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
