Mother Vernell Green Williams, 82, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed on Tuesday April 19, 2022, at her residence. Born in Hampton County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Debbie Capers Green. She was the married to the late Willie Williams for 62 years.
Surviving one daughter, Brenda (Edward) Whitner of Greenville, SC; two sons, Michael Williams and Sammy Williams of Greenville, SC; four sisters, Annie Bell Jones of Estill, SC, Edith Young, Edna (Jim) Shaw and Mary (Lee) Ford all of Greenville, SC; one brother, Bobby Lewis Green of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services: Saturday, April 30, 2022, 1:00pm at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
