Vickie Wesley

Ms. Vickie Hellen Garrett Johnson Wesley, 69, of Greer, South Carolina, departed this life on Monday, July 3, 2017, at McCall Hospice House. Born in Greenville, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Wayman Garrett and Helen Shell Garrett.

She was a 1966 graduate of Sterling High School and was a retired telephone operator of Bellsouth. She was a member of First Christian Fellowship Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James “Binky” Johnson; two sisters, Vernese Garrett Frazier and Jessie Mae Garrett and two brothers, Wayman V. Garrett and Will Lewis Garrett.

Left to cherish many fond memories are her daughters, Kembryle (Dale) Carr of Taylors, SC, Tiffani Johnson of Greenville, SC and Sandreta Johnson of Greer, SC; a sister, Arethia Anderson of Greenville, SC; a brother, Lacy (Debra) Garrett of Greenville, SC; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tracy Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.
