Wade Scurry

Mr. Wade Scurry, 76, of 506 Old Piedmont Hwy, passed away on Wednesday March 25, 2015, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Newberry County, he was the son of the late Wade and Eula Wilson Scurry. He was preceded in death by two wives, Mary Lou Higgins Scurry and Gladys Hazel Scurry, and one brother, Thomas Scurry. He faithfully served as a Mason.

Surviving: daughter, Queen Amos of the home; sisters, Sarah Davis of Newberry, Bobbie Scurry and Katherine (Henry) Chalmers, both of Clinton; Rose Mary Scurry, Betty Sue Campbell, Marie Scurry, and Annie Ruth Scurry, all of Mountville; brothers, Fred (Mary) Scurry of Des Plains, IL, Robert Scurry of Evanston, IL, James Scurry and Ricky Scurry, both of Clinton, James Howard Scurry of Mountville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral Service: Monday, March 30, 2015, 2:00 PM at I-85 Church of Christ, 10 Lonetree Court, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
