Walter Bailey

Mr. Walter Alphonso Bailey, 63, of 23 Fox Hall Road, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at his home. Born in Greenville SC, He was the son of the late Eliza Mae Bailey and Walter Lee Bailey.

Surviving: wife, Alto Bailey of the home; daughter, Crystal Scott of Washington DC; stepdaughters, Alicia (Rene) Jones of Marietta CA, and Rashell (Ryan) Bobo of Mauldin; stepson, William (Vonetta) Martin of Simpsonville; sisters, Doris Linda (Heyward) Herbert of Taylors, Rosa (Willie) Sullivan, Sharon (Bernard) Smith, Alfredia (Calvin) Logan Forest City NC. Lisa Sweeney, of Mauldin, Shawn (Tremaine) Thompson of Nashville TN, and Aprill Bailey of Mauldin, brothers, Thomas Lee (Cathy) Bailey of Forest City, NC,
Christopher Bailey of Inglewood, CA, Frederick Bailey of Berea, Jonathan (Maxine) Bailey of Simpsonville, eleven grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Friday, August 28, 2015, 12:00 PM, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Burial will take place Monday August 31, 2015 at M J Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery. Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
