Mr. Walter Pitts, 70, of 108 Boyd Avenue, Simpsonville, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Fountain Inn, he was the son of the late Vandy and Blanche Pitts.
Surviving: wife, Carolyn Burdine of the home; daughters, Diane Mayfield of Greenville, Dorothy (Norris) Ladson of Taylors, and Lucille Boyd of Greenville; sons, Tracy Burdine of Simpsonville, Billy (Elder Stephanie) Burdine of Greenville, and Benjamin Mayfield of Greenville; brothers, William (Mary) Pitts of Greenville and Michael Pitts of Florida; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Saturday, May 30, 2015, 2:00 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
