Mr. Walter Lee “Crip” Walker, 97, formerly of Easley, South Carolina, departed this life on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center, Mint Hill, North Carolina. He was a son of the late James Henry Walker and Luvenia Mansell Walker.
He was a retiree of Easley Combined Utilities System.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Louise Walker.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are a daughter, Paula (Paul A.) Coleman of Charlotte, NC; a foster son, Lonnie (Rhonda) Irby of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Betty (Charles) Madden of Greenville, SC, and Lula Ann Blassingame of Easley, SC; one brother, James H. Walker of Easley, SC; three grandchildren, Brittany Burgess, Brandon Burgess and Darius Jamison; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was a retiree of Easley Combined Utilities System.
