Mrs. Wilhelmena Owens, 79, of 9 Draper Street, passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Heartland Health. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Furman and Ollie Mae Griffin Heyward. She was preceded in death by five sisters and nine brothers.
Surviving: husband; Clarence Owens, Sr. of the home, daughter; Sandra (Curtis) Dirton of Atlanta: sons; Lesley “Stan” Owens of Greenville, Clarence Owens, Jr. of Charleston, and Robert Wayne (Angel) Owens of Greenville: sister; Anna Mary Vance of Greenville: and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Friday, November 7, 2014, 12:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church, with burial in M.J. Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, Anderson S.C.
