William Arnold

Mr. William Henry “Bruno” Arnold, 78, of 11 Vermont Street, passed on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at his home.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Carrie Kittles Arnold of the home; four sons, Damien J. Kittles of Greenville, SC, Anthony McPhatter of Columbia, SC, Vincent Arnold of Ohio, Dewitt (Mary) McPhatter of Jacksonville, NC, eight daughters, Antoinette Arnold of New York, Diane (Cecil) Heyward of Waterbury, CT, Dietrich Cannon of Clearwater, Florida, Danyel Mitchell, of Greenville, SC, Sharron McPhatter of Raleigh, NC, Stephanie McPhatter of Jacksonville, NC, Wanda McPhatter of Holly Ridge, NC and Ursula Gauthier of Jacksonville, NC; thirty-two grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Gloria) Arnold; five sisters, Retia A. Paris, Sandra (Arthur) Cummings, Denise (Ricardo) Singleton, Johnnie (Ronny) Williams all of Jacksonville, NC, Cynthia (Roosevelt) Thomas of Marietta, GA, and Elizabeth (Yves) Mervin of Orange, NJ; two aunts, Minnie Henderson Washington of Springfield, MA and Clara Arnold of Jacksonville, NC; very special friend (brother of the heart) William Sharpless “Slim” of Massachusetts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
