William Van Whiteside

Mr. William Van "June" Whiteside, 78, of Travelers Rest, South Carolina, passed at Prisma Health, Greenville Memorial Hospital. He was a son of the late Govan and Lucille Miller Whiteside.

Surviving: four daughters, Melody (Troy) Harris of Atlanta, GA, Vanessa Cruell of Travelers Rest, SC, Kimberly Cruell and Carla Anderson both of Greenville, SC; one son, Brandon Thompson of Travelers Rest, SC; six sisters, Ann D. Whiteside of Travelers Rest, SC; Dorothy Whiteside, of Detroit, MI; Margie A. Mansell and Mary W. Cruell of Greenville, SC, Shirley R. Whiteside of Travelers Rest, SC and Barbara Elaine Whiteside-Madison of Greenville, SC; adopted brother, Waldren (Betty) Cook of Greenville, SC; one god-sister, Lois Cox of Travelers Rest, SC; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service: Saturday, December 3, 2022; 12:00pm, Mt.Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, with interment in
Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
