Mr. William Waldrup, Sr., 74, of Piedmont, South Carolina, passed on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Prisma Health. Born in Hodges, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Lewis and Ida Curenton Waldrup.
Surviving his wife of 52 years, Theresa Murrey Waldrup; one daughter, Jacqueline Cohen of Piedmont, SC; one son, William Waldrup, Jr., of Austin, TX; two sisters, Mary Alice Golden of Greenwood, SC, and Patricia Ann Chapman of Greenville, SC; one brother, James Edward (Johnnie) Waldrop of Piedmont, SC; two grandchildren, Xavier D. Waldrup and Kia L. Stevenson; three great-grandchildren, Ni’Kimah J. Abercrombie, Camille R. Beasley, and I’Zayvion S. Waldrup; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 11:00am, at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with interment in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
