Willie Boston

Mr. Willie Clarence Boston was born in Laurens County, South Carolina, on November 6, 1956, to the late Willie and Sallie Mae Geter Boston. Willie passed over to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.


Willie attended Greenville County Schools, worked with his late father, installing gymnasium floors, and did roofing work for many years. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church in Greenville, South Carolina.


Willie was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Timothy Williams; one sister, Nancy Gene Boston; and two brothers, Ricky Lee and Jeffery Allen Boston.


He is survived by his wife, Della Mae Boston; a daughter, Nitiya Rucker of Greenville; one sister, Brenda (Charles) McElrath of Greenville; three brothers, James (Meon) Coker of Cicero, NY; Tony O. Boston of Greenville; and Stanley (Margaret) Boston of Fountain Inn; five grandchildren; two uncles; Ernest (Rosie Mae) Geter, and Jerome (Mary Louise) Boston; one aunt, Margaret Little of Greenville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.
