Mr. Willie Brinkley, Sr., 86, of 17 Mush Creek Road, Travelers Rest, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at McCall Hospice House. Born in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Charlie and Annie Solomon Brinkley.
Surviving: sons; Willie G. (Eleanor) Brinkley, Jr. and Larry E. (Jerri) Brinkley, both of Travelers Rest: sisters; Annie M. Brinkley and Nannie Mapson of Wilmington, NC and Dorothy (Alvin) Waring of Washington, DC: brother; Albert (Sylvia) Brinkley of Charleston: three grandchildren: three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, November 13, 2014, 1:00 - 2:15 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
Funeral Service: Thursday, November 13, 2014, 2:30 PM at Watkins, Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with burial in Mountain View Memorial Gardens, Travelers Rest.
