Mr. Willie James “Smiley” Edwards, Sr., 71, of Greenville, passed on Monday, October 5, 2020, at Poinsett Health and Rehabilitation. He was the son of the late Fred Edwards and Hattie Nash.
Surviving: one son, Willie James (Lizzie) Edwards, Jr., of Greenville; three sisters, Arlene McCullough, Minnie Bryson and Doris Hunter, all of Greenville; one brother, Fred Nash of Greenville; three granddaughters, Kalayia Edwards, Kylie Edwards and Kailani Edwards, all of Greenville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing Only: Thursday, October 8, 2020, 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m., at Watkins, Garrett and Woods Mortuary, with a private burial.
