Willie Morgan

Mr. Willie Herst “Nip Nip” Morgan was the fourth child of sixteen children born to the late Elmore and Lucille Morgan on May 30, 1929. He departed this life on November 21, 2019.

He worked several years for SCDOT, and later began working for Ashmore and retired after twenty-five years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents, several brothers and sisters; his wife, Rosa Morgan; two sons, Willie and Lacey Morgan; and three grandchildren, Sandra Wilson, Joseph Parker and Tykeddrick Cooke.

Willie leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: six daughters, Martha Wilson of Jamaica Queens, NY, Hattie Warren of Estill, SC, Beatrice Bostic of Scotia, SC, Cynthia Parker of Columbia, SC, Isabell Parker of Brooklyn NY, and Vanessa McNatt of Greenville, SC; one son, Willie Cotton of Pennsylvania; one sister, Isabell Drayton of Allendale, SC; one brother, Freddie Morgan (Beatrice) of Tarboro, SC; nineteen grand-children; twenty-five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a godson, Jacoby Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
