Mrs. Willie Mae Vernon, 81, of 10 Wilma Drive, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at home. Born in Steele, MS, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Lodia Reed Taylor.
Surviving: husband, Jerry Vernon of the home; daughters, Charice (Fred) Sparks of Lansing, MI and Vinshell (Jessie) Jones of Reiverview, MI; sons, William Mitchell and Victor Mitchell, both of Detroit, MI; niece, Carlita Taylor of Michigan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
