Mrs. Willie Mae Woods, 58, of 831 Cleveland Street, Apt #167, Greenville, SC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 9, 2016, in Silver Springs, MD.
Willie, affectionally called “Mae”, was born May 13, 1958, to the late Bo and Eliza Mae Cooper in Knoxville, TN. She graduated from Austin-East High School, Class of 1977.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Willie J. Nelson, Jr., sister, Mary Deloise Nelson, and grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Ernest Hall, Sr.
She leaves to cherish sweet memories: husband, Eugene Woods; son, Cameron (Tyshekia) Hammond, Jr., extended daughter, Brandy (Gregory) Cousar, extended son, Tyrone Woods, and loving grandchildren, Camaya, Cameron III, Carmen and Jeremiah Hammonds, and Robert Duce Jones, all of Greenville, SC, four sisters, Elizabeth (Stan) Chiles of Greenville, SC, Shirley (Steven) Mack of Fort Wayne, IN, Patricia (James) Thompson of Silver Springs, MD, and Arnetta Kirkland of Knoxville, TN; four brothers, Ronald (Ezelia Nelson), Jack Cooper and Glen (Priscilla) Evans, all of Knoxville, TN, and Frank Cooper of Greenville, SC; several nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
