Bishop Woodrow Blake, 82, of Easley, South Carolina, transitioned into eternity on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at his residence. Born in Pickens County, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Ed Blake and Hattie Mae Terrel Blake.
He was married to the late Ruby Elizabeth Henderson Blake for 62 years.
Surviving: two daughters, Elaine (James) Austin of Easley, SC and Mirinda Porter of Greenville, SC; one son, Anthony (Annette) Blake of Easley, SC; five sisters, Edna Mae Blake, Shirley Blake, Genevie (Jent) Johnson, Margaret Robinson all of Easley, SC and Sarah Mayes of Mauldin, SC; four brothers, BK Blake, Henry Lee Blake, Bobby (Diane) Blake and Lonnie (Min. Barbara) Blake all of Easley, SC; four grandchildren, Jamaal Austin, Javela (Steven) Singleton, Hazel Blake and Gregory Porter; one great-grandchild, Ella Rae Austin; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, March 16, 2022, 12:00noon, at Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary, with in interment in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
